"How I Spent My Summer Vacation": Paintings by Mimi Schlichter
An eclectic array of images from favorite places and things that mean summer to the artist. The paintings depict a variety of summer scenes ranging from larger panoramas of the sky over the water, to window-boxed porches on Marthas Vineyard, to an idyllic view of the Gettysburg battlefield in the artist's former hometown.

Annual Summer Group Show
Works by over 40 regional fine artists and artisans are on view in the main gallery include oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, photography, ink brush painting, pottery, mosaics, sculpture, fiber arts, hand blown glass, woven wall hangings, carved decoys, handmade jewelry and more.

"The Colors of Light and Earth" Shirley Mossman Nisbet - Recent Works
An exhibition of new paintings by Shirley Mossman Nisbet reflects her intense interest color and light and her experiences while on a fellowship at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts. There she enjoyed a studio and painting uninterruptedly for several weeks. On her return, she continued to develop these ideas of color and light. The paintings are long and horizontal format, and are on paper or canvas, using many different media including oil, acrylic, wax, color and metalic pigments, and the red earth of Virginia.

"Birds in Plume: A Focus on Beauty and Play" Photographs by Ida Little
Artist and writer Ida Little of Monument Beach, MA and Melrose, FL. presents intimate portraits of birds in their natural habitats, including "egrets and herons, puffins, penguins, and albatross, dancing, mating, preening and displaying". She has a life-long interest in nature and the natural habitats of birds, fish, animals and plants. Living for many years on the salt marshes of Cape Cod, she and her husband Michael Walsh co-authored Beach Cruising and Coastal Camping, have cruised aboard sailing vessels (from canoe to live-aboard) along the isolated beaches of the Bahamas and remote islands of the Caribbean, and traveled through Chile, Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. More recently she's been exploring the natural sanctuaries of Florida.

"Cape Views" - Works by Four Women Artists
Inspired views of the Cape Cod landscape, works include oil paintings by Hillary Osborn, watercolors by Priscilla Levesque, and Ink drawings and watercolors by Joyce Ewing, and pastels and oil paintings by Diana Lee.

Cataumet Artists Fair
The 33rd Annual Cataumet Artists' Fair will feature painting demonstrations, wood turning, wool spinning, live music and story telling and open artists' studios. Visitors can enjoy indoor and outdoor exhibits by over 60 Cape Cod artists in a wide range of media. Meet the artists who will be on site to talk about their work and their unique processes. "Drawn Back" - Works by Tom Morton and David Reckford
Tom Morton presents a set of glow-in-the dark drawings and paintings in a meditative setting-a darkened studio room with ultraviolet black lights-as well as sand, shell and seaweed collages. David Reckford shows original drawings and watercolors and a recent series of images inspired by studying lesser known works in the Louvre collection.

Boston Paintings by Sean Boyce
A recent series of oil paintings by Cape Cod native now Boston resident Sean Boyce. Hyper-color, humor and familiar Boston locations such as Newbury Street brownstone facades and pedestrians, the John Hancock building at night illumined by a full moon with vignettes in skyscraper windows, draw the viewer into a world that is both ultra-familiar and delightfully new and entertaining.
