"Coastal Light and Form"
Luminous and expressive paintings, photographs and sculptures by 16 regional artists interpret the delicate and dramatic light and forms unique to the Cape Cod coastline.

"Visions of Paradise from Near and Far" Helen Koehler and Sylvia Burse
Helen Koehler and Sylvia Burse met at Massachusetts College of Art 15 years ago where they were pursuing BFA degrees in painting. Two distinct and beautiful visions of landscape are offered by their joint exhibit: Helen Koehler's watercolor and gouache paintings draw inspiration from beaches and marshes near her Cape Cod home, and Newton based artist Sylvia Burse's oil paintings draw inspiration from travels in the US , France and Italy.

Gallery Performances: "Mary & Ethel!" with Vocalist Stephanie Miele and Pianist Bob Schneider
Back by popular demand, vocalist Stephanie Miele and pianist Bob Schneider will present a musical tribute to Mary Martin and Ethel Merman! Mary and Ethel were friends, played some of the same roles, sang many of the same songs, and yet had their own unique styles. Come and hear many of their favorite songs - and some you may not know - from the various phases of Ethel and Mary's careers.
Sunday, November 11, 4:00 p.m. Admission $10. (Members' admission $8.)
Annual Holiday "December Store" Unique Fine Art and Artisanry by over 60 Cape Cod Artists
Original handmade fine art and artisanry includes oil, pastel, watercolor and ink brush painting, regional photography, wood, metal and mixed media sculpture, hand blown glass, woven apparel, wall hangings, unique clothing and handbags, hand woven baskets, carved decoys, hand made jewelry, pottery, mosaics, handmade cards, ornaments and more. The Depot Group "Figure from Life"
Open Life Drawing/Painting sessions at the Cataumet Village Depot - every Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Cataumet Depot
The Depot Group is an informal group of professional and amateur artists who have been meeting together since 1995 to draw and paint from the live model. Artists 18 and over are welcome to participate. No instruction. Artists bring own equipment and materials to work with. The model will hold a single pose for the entire 2-hour session.
Cost: $10 per session with advance payment for 2-months. Or, on a per session basis, pay $12 per session.
Directions: The Depot at Cataumet Village is located next to the U.S.P.O. & Cataumet Arts Center
Please note:
Sessions are held every Thursday, except on major holidays.
Sessions begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. In consideration for the model, please arrive before starting time; doors open at 6:45 p.m.
